Peer Review Process

Recognizing the importance of receiving, printing, and publishing research, the National Anti-Corruption Academy Editorial Board has developed an electronic program that includes the following stages:

  1. The journal's editorial board sends the research to the journal's website on the Knowledge Bank platform only.
  2. The editorial board sends the research to two reviewers specialized in the research field and requests their response within 30 days.
  3. The scientific peer review process involves anonymizing the author's name and details when sending the research for review. The reviewers' identities remain hidden from the author during and after the review process. The reviewers are required to fill out a detailed electronic form on the research through the website, explaining the reasons for accepting or rejecting the research.
  4. If the research is deemed valid by the reviewers, it is electronically prepared for publication.
  5. If one of the reviewers rejects the research, it is sent to a third reviewer. If the third reviewer agrees with one of the previous reviewers, their decision regarding acceptance or rejection of the research is final.
  6. If the research is accepted for publication with revisions, it is sent back to the author for the required modifications within 15 days. Then, the revised research is returned to the reviewers for reviewing and approving the modifications within 15 days.
  7. The mentioned deadlines can be extended based on arbitration requirements and with the approval of the journal's editorial board.
  8. Once the research is finally accepted for publication, the author is notified officially by letter or email, and the author cannot cancel the publication request in this case.
  9. The journal's editorial board reviews and prepares the research for publication according to specific criteria, and the author is promptly notified upon publication on the website.
