The accredited, internationally indexed, and academic refereed journal "The Journal of Governance Preventing and Combating Corruption (JGPCC)" is published by the National Academy for Combating Corruption, which operates under the Administrative Control Authority established by Law No. 207 of 2017. The Academy has the following responsibilities:
- Conducting various training activities at the local, regional, and international levels to promote the values of integrity, transparency, awareness of corruption risks and methods of combating corruption, as well as other related fields.
- Granting academic degrees in partnership with various institutions, preparing studies and research, organizing conferences and workshop and providing consultations in the areas of corruption prevention, combating corruption and other related fields.
- Contributing scientifically and research-wise to the implementation of the national anti-corruption strategy, aligned with the national objectives outlined in Egypt's Vision 2030 for Sustainable Development, aiming to establish a conscious societal culture that fights corruption, upholds accountability and participation among all segments of society, in collaboration with regional and international entities.
- Participating in fulfilling regional and international agreements and resolutions related to combating corruption, to which Egypt has acceded, including the United Nations Convention against Corruption, the Arab Convention for Combating Corruption, the African Union Convention on Preventing and Combating Corruption and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Agreement on the Enforcement of Anti-Corruption Laws.
